Description

A set of 3 wooden trays perfect for the classroom. These wooden trays can be used for storage and display of classroom resources. The wooden trays can also be used in sensory play, or in creative play to build mini worlds and play scenes. The largest wooden tray measures 28cm wide x 35cm deep x 5cm high. The medium size measures 23cm wide x 31cm deep x 5cm high. The smallest of the wooden trays measures 18cm wide x 27cm deep x 5cm high. All of the wooden trays feature handles at both ends, and nest inside the largest tray. They are made with pine sides and a plywood base.

The illustrated accessories are not included. These woven storage baskets allow children to be able to easily access resources on their own. This allows children to gain a sense of agency as they are able to make their own decisions on the choice of resources. This item will also create a warm and authentic atmosphere . Having a variety of textures, fabrics, colours and materials helps to create an environment that is visually appealing and stimulating, but also calming. The learning environment should be comfortable and welcoming for children, parents and educators. Young children respond differently, based on the design, the types of resources, and the materials used in the environment.
