A wonderful indoor and outdoor play house. This great furniture piece is excellent for creating fun play spaces or quiet reading nooks. It is even made from treated pine which can be left outdoors. This large outdoor play house features a wooden floor and a pitched roof. The open, yet protected sides and back create an intimate play space for young children whilst also allowing for easy visual supervision. Children can use the playhouse as a stage, a shop, a hospital or a quiet reading nook. The possibilities for play in this spaces are endless. Their imaginations are the only limit! This fun house measures 156cm wide x 100cm deep x 170cm high. Made from outdoor treated pine. Assembly is also required.

This playhouse makes a wonderful nook. The house-shaped roof line creates a welcoming space. The play house can support children and students in quiet learning, self reflection, role play and finding a quiet spot from the rest of the class.

Please note that this item is NOT made with CCA treated pine (Copper chrome arsenate treated timber). The timber is treated with an environmentally friendly preservative solvent and then rubbed with a wax-based oil. Treated pine is designed for outdoor use, and as per all outdoor timber it will weather, change colour and have small cracks with time. This is a normal characteristic of any outdoor timber. As per any furniture item, we recommend to check over this unit on a regular basis. Depending on where the play house is located and the weather conditions this item should be cleaned, sanded as needed and then coated with a wax oil approximately once a year. This will help to maintain the play house for the best possible fun and play. Of course this item can be used indoors, and will require less maintenance. The wooden slat floor can be removed if not wanted, however it does help to keep the structural character of the outdoor wooden house.

Try adding cushions and a rug or mat to create a comfortable reading area or quiet nook. Decorate with role play resources for dramatic play, or bring blocks for an excellent construction site.

Other ways to help prevent tipping are to place heavier objects on the bottom shelf /drawer and discourage children from climbing on furniture.
