Sunpaper Kit - UV Reacting Paper

Sunpaper UV reacting paper goes through a chemical reaction when exposed to light, leaving a permanent image on the paper. This Sunpaper kit encourages an interest in the photographic process using only sun, water, and a bit of imagination. The paper goes through a chemical change when exposed to light. Try this experiment and watch an image emerge. Use your kit outside on a sunny or an overcast day or even indoors on a sunny windowsill. Do not expose the paper to sunlight until you have assembled the kit. 1. Select an item like a leaf, a key, fern, a flower, or a black and white negative. Try using 3 dimensional objects, but omit the acrylic sheet. 2. Assemble your kit in this order: a piece of cardboard on the bottom, place the Sunpaper on top, then the item of your choice and at the top, place an acrylic sheet. 3. Expose your kit to the sun until the paper turns almost white. This takes about 1 to 5 minutes, depending on the sunlight available. Do not overexposure the paper. 4. Quickly rinse the sunpaper with water for about 1 minute and let the paper dry flat. The result is a beautiful long lasting image! Contents of the kit: 15 sheets of 20 x 30cm.
