Meet the artist

Our Early Years Planner cover, 'Mind Dance' was designed by First Nations artist & illustrator Janelle Burger, of both Noongar and Sicilian descent. Janelle's bright, modern style and uplifting design aesthetic fit effortlessly with our 2025 theme of calm, soothing cover designs.

"As I made this artwork, my mind danced back to the days of my youth, those little journeys to and from school. Each of us had our pathways, our individual trails. For me, these pink lines are more than mere strokes; they mirror the winding Swan River that whispered alongside us on our way to school every week. My intention was to infuse this cover with vibrancy and life, with an exhilarating burst of colours that greet you each time you open this planner. Let it be a beacon of joy, a kaleidoscope of memories to be revisited with every turn of the page throughout 2025."
