This jumbo knob puzzle is specially designed for very young children and those with special educational needs. The extra thick and large pictures are silkscreen printed directly on the wood. Extra large 3cm wooden knobs for easy removal and placing. Set of 4 puzzles includes Fruit (DL1569), Vegetables (DL1565), Wild Animals (DL1558) and Pets (DL1557). Each puzzle measures 50 x 16cm and are 12mm thick. Suitable for children from the age of 18 months.

Little hands have no problems piecing together this colour detailed first animals and foods. Each giant knob first puzzle has 4 wooden pieces with giant, easy-to-grip knobs, so they’re easy for young ones to grasp and fit into place. Colour detailed, for children to learn the different names to the pictures.

Puzzles are a great activity for young children to develop fine motor skills, visual and memory skills, categorising and sorting skills, whilst playing and having fun. Children can progress from these basic puzzles on to higher levelled, larger puzzles that require them to develop more advanced strategies, critical thinking techniques, and problem solving skills.

Puzzles have so many developmental benefits including physical motor skills, patience and perseverance, critical thinking and problem solving as well as language prompts.
