This wooden outdoor kitchen refrigerator unit is excellent for role play. This outdoor kitchen fridge unit measures 45cm wide x 35cm deep x 85cm high. This home corner item also features soft close hinges for extra safety. This pretend outdoor kitchen fridge is suitable for use both indoors and outside, however keeping this item under protected conditions outside will maintain the timber finish for longer. The outdoor kitchen refrigerator is made from solid eucalyptus timber. We recommend to oil with a natural oil regularly to maintain the beautiful timber surface. Assembly is required. Suitable for children from the age of 3 years. All timber used in this item is approved by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). This is the world’s most rigorous labelling system for timber products, and is the only forest label supported by the World Wildlife Fund, Greenpeace and the Australian Conservation Fund. FSC approval ensures that this item is an environmentally friendly and sustainable option for the classroom.

Timber Maintenance Guide

We recommend to clean your outdoor furniture several times a year. We suggest to use an outdoor wood furniture cleaner and follow their instructions. Also remove any cobwebs, leaves or dirt before cleaning and dry thoroughly in the sun after cleaning. We don’t recommend a high pressure washer.
We recommend to sand and oil your furniture as required throughout the year. The weather will deteriorate timber so the location of the furniture and the weather such as rain and humidity will wear timber at different rates. Using a natural furniture oil will help to maintain the beautiful colour of the timber and hold the necessary moisture in the wood. Please follow the manufacturer’s directions for oiling. Usually only a light sand is needed.
If your outdoor furniture gets wet, we suggest that you dry it out in the sun. This will help to prevent mould and wood rot.
For best longevity of your outdoor furniture we also suggest that you keep it undercover or cover it when not in use. If the furniture can be kept under a roof out of direct weather and sun, it will help to make the most out of your furniture.
The metal hardware can become loose over time, so we recommend that you check the screws, hinges and bolts throughout the year. This will help to keep the furniture strong and in the best working condition.

Our outdoor furniture is made from hardwood Eucalyptus and is suitable for outdoor use. However as with all timber, the weather will wear the wood. When left outdoors eucalyptus furniture will naturally weather to a silver grey colour. You will begin to notice the “greying” after a few months, depending on the amount of sun and rain your furniture is exposed to. You may even notice a few small cracks which is not a structural defect, but a perfectly natural process, as the wood expands and contracts, adjusting to the elements.

Following the above guide on a regular basis will help to maintain the beauty, integrity and strength of the timber and allows you to get the most enjoyment from the furniture.
