Description

This soft, fabric pillow features a stylised designed inspired by the scenery and landscapes of New Zealand. This New Zealand cushion features a removable and machine washable cover. Please ensure to wash in cold water. The pillow cover is made from cotton/polyester, and measures 50cm x 50cm. The printed velvet feel cover is removable for easy washing. The cushion cover may shrink a small amount after the first few washes, so we have designed the cushion cover a little larger to allow for this initial shrinkage. The separate cushion insert features a durable foam fill, which is both durable and soft is available to purchase separately. These resources aid in the promotion of understanding and acceptance of different cultures, beliefs, languages, families, appearances and lifestyles. As children gain an understanding of their community, they also gain an understanding of themselves. This develops confidence and a sense of identity. These cushions help educators to create an authentic environment that represents both their local and wider communities. These cushions can be used to create comfortable play spaces, reading areas and also reception spaces. We love creating products that allow indigenous communities and artists to communicate their culture through their art and in turn allowing children to develop awareness and understanding of the significance of cultural heritage in their world.
